Our parent training has been developed over 5 years and aims to provide realistic advice that is fits in with your everyday life. The parent training takes place online and face to face. Everything is bitesize so it makes it easier to understand and use.
Improved relationships
Improve relationships between your whole family as you begin to understand each other more and increase the bonds you have while reducing frustration.
Parent empowerment
Gain confidence in knowing what your child needs and how best to support them. This will reduce the feeling of being overwhelmed and increase your knowledge.
Increase knowledge
Learn from the autism experts. Get a head start on learning autism information that can take years to accumulate.
We host specialist autism workshops for parents who want to teach their children more communication skills, toilet training, reduce behaviours and or increase focus. Join us face to face and online to work through these topics practically and theoretically.
SENtre Online
Parent mornings with a twist! Join us for our community meetings. Meet other parents and take part in our special tasks aimed to teach you something new and enhance your child’s skills. These take place online, but we do have special dates where we meet in person.
SENtre early bird courses
We know how difficult it can be when you first get your diagnosis. It can be quite overwelming and in some cases you feel as though you are not given the right support. Our autism early bird course provides you with realistic support give you techniques, knowledge, and places to seek further support.
More support for parents
As well as working directly with parents to support and empower them, we also offer therapies, including ABA Therapy that parents can attend with their children and learn, play and explore together, here at our secure, safe centre in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

Funding Available
We know how difficult it can be to work and also provide childcare for your child. If you send your child to our SENtre you may be entitled to funding for your child’s space. As we are Ofsted registered, we have some solutions for you. If you are entitled to child tax-credits, you may be able to gain a 20% contribution towards your fees. You can read more about this here.
If you are a parent or guardian who is currently studding, you can also gain up to £9,000 a year in a childcare grant. You can find more about this below.
